Research, Community Engagement and Feasibility Studies

Good decisions are built on good information. Weave Together supports organisations to gather, analyse and interpret evidence so they can understand needs, test ideas, engage stakeholders and make informed choices about future direction.

Our research and feasibility work combines community-sector understanding with robust research methods. We keep the process practical and proportionate, translating findings into clear insights, options and recommendations that boards, managers and funders can use.

Feasibility Studies

Before investing time, funding or energy into a new service, project, partnership or income-generating idea, it is important to understand whether it is realistic, needed and sustainable.

Weave Together can support small organisations to undertake practical feasibility studies that test an idea before major decisions are made. This helps boards, managers and funders understand the opportunity, the risks, the likely demand, the resources required and whether the idea fits with the organisation’s purpose and capacity. A feasibility study may include:

  • reviewing the need or opportunity
  • gathering input from stakeholders, partners or potential users
  • assessing alignment with your organisation’s mission and strategy
  • considering funding, income or cost implications
  • identifying operational requirements
  • reviewing risks, barriers and dependencies
  • testing demand or community support
  • considering governance, staffing and delivery implications
  • developing options and recommendations

Our approach is clear, practical and proportionate. We do not overcomplicate the process, but we do help organisations ask the right questions before committing to a new direction.

A good feasibility study gives your board and team the information they need to make a confident decision about whether to proceed, adapt the idea, seek further investment or pause before taking on too much.
